A professional organizer uses their knowledge of space planning, organizational systems, and visual harmony to help clients organize an area in their home, office, or digital spaces. A professionally organized space matches the client’s lifestyle and personal needs with lasting, sustainable systems for long-term success.
Ursa Organization serves most of Front Range Colorado! I travel as far north/south as Longmont to Littleton, and as far east/west and Aurora to Golden. Any project further than an hour drive from my Broomfield office will include a trip charge.
Ursa Organization offers custom organizing services to those seeking order, including families of any size, individuals of any age, and even neurodivergent clients living with conditions such as ADHD, autism, and depression.
I’ve done all sorts of interesting projects like moving prep, bereavement clean-outs, and digital file organization. My experience covers every nook and cranny of the home; from the garage, to the bedroom, to the office.
We’re also hands-on, with a team ready to tackle big projects quickly and efficiently. We handle product pickup and sustainable clutter haul-away and disposal, partnering with local charities and recycling centers to give discarded items a second life in the community.
The client is required to be present for the first session. After that, your level of involvement is up to you. I like to say that my clients are welcome to either take the lead in the project, act as my partner under guidance, or run away screaming from the clutter!
I charge by the hour. Payment for the 3-hour minimum session is accepted during the online booking process. Any additional hours or materials are charged at the end of each session via cash, check, Venmo (3% surcharge), or PayPal (3% surcharge).
A session begins when I arrive to organize in person and ends when I walk out the door. Any short breaks that I may take (ie: lunch, water, rest) are not charged to the client. Sessions are measured in 15-minute increments and can last anywhere from 3-8 hours depending on your schedule, energy, and level of involvement. Most organization projects take more than one session to complete.
Step 1: Free 15-minute consultation
During this phone or video call, I interview the client to see if we are a good fit for each other. In addition to asking you about the space you want to organize, I might also ask follow-up questions to figure out why this space has been a decluttering obstacle for you. This helps me begin to understand what I will do to aid you on your journey to decluttered living.
Day 1 of taking back your space! The client must be present for the entirety of the first session so that they can walk me through the space and their vision of the finished project. How will I know what is important to you if you are not present? With client permission I will sometimes take “before” photos of the space for my portfolio.
The organizing process involves getting rid of items that no longer serve us (via trash, recycle, or charity drop-off), and then finding functional homes for the items that are left. This may involve a trip to a store to get new organizing tools such as containers or storage furniture, at the client’s expense. As part of my paid services, I am happy to transport unwanted items to their final destinations for you at the end of the project.
Once I fully understand the client’s needs for the project, the client has a choice: Stay involved in the organizing process, or go do other things while I work on the project.
Benefits of staying to help organize:
When the organization is done, I help clients put a bow on the project. This could involve placing a few key decorative items in the space, vacuuming up the dust we kicked up, or even just introducing the other members of your household to the new system in that space. With client permission I will take “after” photos of the space for my portfolio.
Yes, Ursa Organization offers optional regular organizing services to help clients maintain their newly organized spaces and prevent clutter from accumulating in the future.
Ursa Organization does not handle permanent installation directly. For any permanent changes to the home, we partner with Carl Walker of HomeSafe Services to ensure that your desired installation is done with an expert hand.
Let's get planning! A clutter-free life is only a phone call away.
